PAGOSA SPRINGS’ ORIGINAL SALT CAVE
Prepare for Your Session
Prepare for Your Session
Before Your Salt Therapy Session
We recommend that you talk to your healthcare provider before participating in halotherapy. The salt cave is a dry atmosphere, and beverages are not allowed inside the cave, please show up for your session hydrated. Personal lockers are available for your belongings, but we recommend leaving valuables at home. Please arrive 15 minutes early to check-in. Once the session begins, we cannot allow anyone to enter the salt cave as a disruption in the session will hinder the halotherapy benefits.
During Your Salt Therapy Session
You will be asked to remove your shoes before your salt therapy session, please bring clean socks. If needed, socks will be available for purchase. Soft, meditative music will play as you relax in a zero-gravity chair. Sessions are not private unless you book the full salt cave. All sessions are uninterrupted for the duration of the halotherapy. Food and beverages are not allowed inside the salt cave, so please hydrate and eat prior to your salt therapy session.
After Your Salt Therapy Session
It’s normal to experience a dry cough and/or runny nose after a halotherapy session for a short time. Throat lozenges will be available to you as you exit your session. Please drink plenty of water following salt therapy.
